ADAM HAS APPEARED IN SO MANY TV SHOWS AND MOVIES IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO CAPTURE THEM ALL, SO HERE IS A SELECTION FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT
I will, of course be adding to this, and all pages as an ongoing development

"THIRST"

The above are from the TV movie "Thirst"...Adam plays the engineer who has to come up with a solution to kill a deadly, escalating virus in the water, which threates to poison a whole town. Time is of the essence as he races to discover the source of the problem and how to eradicate it. It's routine fare as a "disaster that the 'bigwigs' want to pretend isn't happening" movie, but it's a good story and Adam is great as the sensitive, intelligent man who has to come up with both the reason for the problem and the means to solve it before the townsfolk are wiped out. Adam's wife, Phyllis Lyons also features in this movie.

"HITCH"

3 photos from the Will Smith movie "Hitch"..Adam played Eva Mendes's boss, and although he didn't have a huge amount of screen time, he looked SO distinguished.

"WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE"

"With Friends Like These" is a comedy drama about 4 actor friends who compete for roles, console each other when they lose out and often behave like lunatic Hollywood types, driving their wives mad. It's a great 'buddy' movie and despite any rivalry the men experience they pull together in times of trouble, as friends do. It's a 'feel good' movie that will have you laughing and crying for them. Laura San Giacomo plays Adam's wife.

"NORTHERN EXPOSURE" (TV)

The above photos are from one of Adam's quirkiest and most popular characters, Adam, the eccentric, ill-humoured, bare-footed gourmet chef from the 90's TV series, Northern Exposure. Introduced in the first season as a mysterious, scary 'Bigfoot' kind of character, he appeared 2 or 3 times a season (and directed some episodes) and won our hearts when we realised his 'bark was worse than his bite'. The love of his life was Eve, to whom he pledged his undying devotion despite the two of them shouting and screaming at each other most of the time! The photos (click on the thumbnails) are from the episode called 'Our Wedding' in which the world's unlikeliest couple finally tie the knot. They went on to have a baby in Season 4, who also wore a tiny beanie hat like his dad's! Trivia: In the season 4 DVD extras (which were disappointing) there's a very brief clip of Adam/Adam on set whisking off his beanie hat AND long black hair, to reveal his own lovely dark (at the time!), wavy hair! I often wondered about that ;-)

"HALLOWEEN T20, 20 YEARS LATER"

Jamie Lee Curtis was the sister (presumed dead) of a girl killed by Michael Myers twenty years previously, who is now mother of a teenage son and holds the position of Head Teacher at an excellent school. Adam is the school Counsellor and the 'love interest' in this movie. Miss Tate manages to hold down her resonsible job without arousing suspicion as to her terrifying past. Her son, however, is well aware of the nightmares and fear she suffers every year on Halloween, that the spooky killer will return to kill her too. The effect of the trauma on the Head Teacher has resulted in her over-protectiveness of her son, who, though sympathetic towards his mother, is getting fed up with the many restrictions her terror imposes on his life. The above photos are from the day she tells boyfriendWill Brennan (Adam) exactly why she's so frightened of Haloween, and of course she has good reason, as Michael Myers is at that moment waiting for his chance to pounce. While not being a fan of 'slasher' movies, this is pretty good and probably the best of the series. The scenes with Jamie Lee and Adam are charming and sweet, although Adam's fans will not be pleased at the outcome...predictable I'm afraid. Still, it's a 'must have' movie for a collector, either of Adam's work or 'Halloween' fans in general.

"COMMANDER IN CHIEF" (TV)

Commander in Chief was a quality drama from ABC in which Geena Davis played the first female President of the US. I don't know how the show fared in the US or around the world, but sadly it never got the exposure in the UK that I feel it deserved, as the ABC channel was a (now defunct) 'freeview' channel and to my knowledge the show has never played on any of the major terrestrial or satellite/cable channels. We can but hope... Adam played Carl Brantley, a lawyer and long-standing friend of the President, who she wants as her Attorney General. Things are rarely as simple as that though and sure enough, with the help of the evil Nathan (Donald Sutherland) Carl has to endure a trial by media, facing a hearing to answer why he allowed a petty criminal to go free when that individual went on to murder an old lady. It's a typical situation in any 20th/21st century modern country
